MUSEUM MISSION AND PURPOSE

The Veterans Memorial Museum Committee
is the principal leader of and catalyst for:  plans, strategies, programs, displays and services that:

1. Promote a favorable and accurate image and respect of the American Armed Forces, with a focus on the Florida Veteran.
2. Assist the quality of exhibits and programs at the museum and park, as well as events that the committee may sponsor, support or take part in outside the park and museum.
3. Provide the orderly growth, future vision and development of the museum and park.
4. Provide a continuous and accurate inventory of all assets such as display materials, arms, and ammunition, valuables, displays on loan, mementos and static displays.
5. Work in partnership with The Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association of Florida Committee, at the museum and park.
